| Adult Swim's Annual "Have-It-Your-Way" Contest |
Adult Swim has a contest every year in which one winner chooses what plays over the night. This year's winner has chosen the following (all anime) lineup for August 5th:
11PM-2AM - FLCL (entire series)
2AM-3AM - Cowboy Bebop
3AM-4AM - Trigun
4AM-5AM - Paranoia Agent
5AM - Fullmetal Alchemist
5:30AM - Samurai Champloo

| Happy Anniversary! |
It's officially been one year since AnimeDates opened! We'll have a couple of sweepstakes up tonight to celebrate and possibly some upgrades and updates by the weekend!

| Mikomicon Extended by One Day! |
We just received an email stating that Mikomicon has extended it's run by one extra day, so the convention will run:
October 13 - 15
AnimeDates will have a booth at the convention and we encourage you all to come and join us! More information to come as it's available. |

| New Sweepstakes! |
If you've been following the FREE DVDS!!! thread on the boards, you've been eagerly waiting on me to get rid of my extra DVDs that I have lying around! Well, the first ones are up for grabs.
I was going to be REALLY creative, but a Sweepstakes is SO easy... Also, I need to make room on my shelf before I'm allowed to buy more! :)
Help me make room by WINNING MY DVDs! You can see the other DVDs that I'll be getting rid of on the thread linked above. If you have any creative suggestions for how to distribute them, post them!!! |

| What's New in Japan - April 2006 Season |
The new season of anime in Japan is almost upon us! We are eagerly anticipating a number of shows this season (with Nana and XXXHOLiC at the top of my personal list) and are eagerly anticipating bringing the reviews to you!
