| Message Area Fixed (Temp Version Up) |
Okay, here's the scoop -
A new feature that was being worked on earlier prevented the Message Center from working. This happened at around 1pm this afternoon and lasted until now.
I placed a temporary version of the Message Center up for now. It only allows access to your Inbox (not Sent or Deleted), but it will allow you to check/send/delete your messages.
I will replace access to the Reply/Deleted areas by tomorrow morning. |

It seems that the Message Center and Send Message areas are having a problem and are currently offline.
Somebody is looking at it now and should have the problem fixed shortly! |

| Anime on the Big Screen |
Funimation has a new division called Funimation Films that will be putting anime in American movie theaters!
Per their website, FUNimation Films will be going nationwide in March at select theaters starting with a double feature of Dragon Ball Z Fusion Reborn and Dragon Ball Z The Return of Cooler. Following that, fans will get the opportunity to catch a sneak peek of the upcoming series Basilisk in April. Our first three months on the big screen will also feature Trinity Blood in May.
The trailers for all of the above anime can be found on their website at the link above. This is yet another very intelligent move that has taken place since the purchase of the company. This is also very good timing, as the Fusion movie is one of the better films of the DBZ series. |

| Fanart and Other Drawings |
There has been an large influx of fanart being updated lately. Please note that if someone reports you for uploading copyrighted images or other images that you do not have the right to upload, then the images will be immediately deleted and your account will be subject to possible termination.
There will be a "Report this Profile" feature setup in the near future so that users may report invalid content. In the meantime, please report violators using the "Contact Us" link.
Please contact us immediately if YOUR artwork is being used and we will remove it immediately before performing an investigation.

Sorry for the lack of updates on the website lately. January was a very busy time for everybody involved in AnimeDates, allowing for very little time to add new features.
There will be some updates coming over the next week. There will also be a few sweepstakes for Valentine's Day. More news on these items will be posted soon! |

| End of Year Updates |
Here's the last batch of updates that were completed before the New Year:
• Dating Q+A Submission form setup.
• Japanese characters setup on most of the site's features.
• Smiley's added to the Messageboards.
• Report this post feature added to the Messageboards.
• Various formatting fixes for Firefox.
• Image Captions were expanded from a max of 50 characters to 255 characters.
